At the beginning of December, the AstroRara web app won bronze in the “Mobile Web” category at the Best of Swiss Apps Award 2020.
AstroRara brings to life illustrations from a selection of seven historic astronomical works in digital form and allows users to explore them interactively. The focus is on the visualisation of the works and touch functionality. Additional background information on the authors and works is contained in accompanying explanatory texts and audio files.
AstroRara can be used on mobile devices and in internet browsers on desktop computers. The app will be regularly updated with new illustrations.
