Public tours

On our subject-based public tours, we present a selection of holdings from our archives and collections. These tours are held on Tuesday evenings, are open to the public and are free of charge.

To register, go to the calendar entry of the respective public tour.

Good to know: On request, we also organize individual guided tours for you.

You can watch recordings of some past Public Tours on our external page YouTube channel.

17:15 Colloquium

Professional development, discussion, networking: speakers from Switzerland and abroad present topics from their areas of research such as information science, library science, archiving and museum studies as well as related subjects. Three time per semester on the last Thursday of the month at 5.15 p.m., all are welcome to attend the talks and discussions followed by a round of discussions in small groups.

ETH Research Data Management Summer School

The Summer School gives you an extensive overview of research data management (RDM), its principles as well as its practical implications and useful tools for early career scientists. Emphasis is placed on the conditions, infrastructure, and services at ETH Zurich.

Lectures, panel discussions and symposia

We position ourselves in the national and international information community with topics such as science communication, research data management, open-access publishing or new approaches to research tools such as the visual presentation of research results.
