Citing correctly – avoiding plagiarism – the safe way to the scientific text

Citation is an essential part of scientific writing. To prevent plagiarism, it is important to know how to cite correctly. But what do you have to pay attention to when quoting? Which citation styles exist and what exactly is considered to be plagiarism? What is paraphrasing? In this course, you will also learn how plagiarism detection software works, how to analyse its results and which steps need to be taken after your paper has been scanned to ensure that it does not contain any form of plagiarism.
