Projects

As an information service-provider, the ETH Library focuses on selected strategic fields. In doing so, it gears itself to the needs of the Swiss and international information and science community and society's increasing digitization.

  • Anatomical collection of domestic animal

  • E-PICS3: Replacement of Cumulus Software
    Evaluation and introduction of new software to enable the continued use of E-Pics.
  • Integration of the module "virtual reading room" (VRR)
    Providing online access to the archive content of participating archives with access to digital data and improved user management
  • Introduction of digital literature lists with Leganto
    Leganto helps lecturers and course providers at ETH to compile literature and information resources quickly and clearly. The information in the literature lists is directly linked to Swisscovery and can be easily integrated into Moodle courses.

  • Research Collection: Migration to DSpace 7
    Migration of the Research Collection publication platform to DSpace 7
  • Scientometrics
    The Knowledge Management Group establishes a one-​stop shop that maintains high-​quality bibliometric data and offers a wide range of bibliometric and altmetric services.
  • Swiss Year of Scientometrics
    Within the scope of the Swiss Year of Scientometrics (SYoS), a series of workshops and lectures on the responsible use of scientometrics will be held across Switzerland, along with a parallel awareness campaign. The project is funded by swissuniversities.
  • TOBI
    Towards Open Bibliometric Indicators (TOBI) is a project aiming to assess the quality of open bibliometric data sources for scientometric analysis in Switzerland. The project is funded by swissuniversities.
