The registry is open for the eighth Thomas Mann Lecture: Join us in celebrating the 100th anniversary of Thomas Mann’s ‘Der Zauberberg’ with a keynote speech by Professor Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht.

“Blätter der Thomas Mann Gesellschaft Zürich” has been published since 1958 and is the oldest journal dedicated to Thomas Mann in the German-speaking world. The ETH Library now provides digital access on E-Periodica.

From a musicology and media studies perspective, “The Magic Mountain” shows the line of development from early gramophones to today’s headphones.
