Thomas Mann manuscripts online
Thomas Mann Archives Online allow access to further original documents in digital form.
In consultation with the community of heirs and their representative, Professor Frido Mann, the Thomas Mann Archives and external page S. Fischer Verlag are publishing Thomas Mann’s original documents online via Thomas Mann Archives Online before the copyright expires. The online resources now contain documents relating to Mann’s novels “Doctor Faustus” (1947) and “Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man” as well as to the essays from the years 1945–1949.
Indexing and publication
An overview of the currently available documents can be found on the website of the Thomas Mann Archives. In the upcoming years, more digitised resources from the personal papers of Thomas Mann will be uploaded alongside the metadata for all of the personal papers, which are already available online.
