The former Chemistry building and colour research at ETH Zurich

Highlights of the event held at the CAB in the context of “European Heritage Days” on Sunday 15 September 2019

The former Chemistry building at ETH Zurich (‘CAB’ for short), a listed building, opened its doors to the public for a colourful day of events as part of the European Heritage Days.

An exhibition allowed visitors to discover the listed Chemistry building and find out more about colour research performed at ETH Zurich, with various guided tours, workshops and lectures on offer too. VR technology also allowed them to immerse themselves in the world of Chemistry at ETH Zurich as it was in the past.

Experts from the fields of architecture, preservation of monuments, materials research and photography accompanied guests throughout the day.
