The 1st Diamond Open Access Conference in Switzerland, organised as part of the PLATO project and with the participation of the ETH Library, will take place in March.

Publishing in Taylor & Francis journals is possible again.

From 2024, the ETH Library will cover the costs of publications in more journals, including Nature Communications and Scientific Reports.

The concluded Read-and-Publish agreements cover both the costs of access and publishing in the relevant scientific journals. The costs are covered by the ETH Library.

Independent publishing: SciPost gives ETH Zurich researchers an additional way of publishing their research results as open-access articles without relying on commercial providers.

Neue Publikation zum Altbestand der ETH-Bibliothek

Der neue E-Pics Bildkatalog Rostpilze auf Solanaceae zeigt über 1’400 makro- und mikroskopische Aufnahmen von Rostpilzen auf der Pflanzenfamilie der Nachtschattengewächse (Solanaceae). Die Belege stammen aus den Vereinten Herbarien der ETH Zürich und der Universität Zürich.

Im Jahr 2014 übernahm die ETH-Bibliothek das gesamte Fotoarchiv der Stiftung Industriekultur. Nun veröffentlicht das Bildarchiv der ETH-Bibliothek den ersten Teilbestand des Industriehistorikers Dr. Hans-Peter Bärtschi aus den Jahren 1965–2005.

Die ETH-Bibliothek bietet jetzt auch beim Verlag IGI Global und beim Journal of Experimental Botany an, kostenlos Open Access zu publizieren. Der korrespondierende Autor einer Publikation muss Angehöriger der ETH Zürich sein, damit die gratis Open-Access-Option bei IGI Global oder beim Journal of Experimental Botany gültig ist.

Ab sofort können Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der ETH Zürich kostenlos in Zeitschriften der Royal Society of Chemistry Open Access publizieren.
