The course Getting Started – ETH Library in a nutshell provides you with all the key information in one brief, concise package at the beginning of each semester. And it pays to sign up early as the courses soon fill up.

You can conveniently search the media holdings via the research platform external pageETH Library @ swisscoverycall_made. With swisscovery you get access to more than 490 scientific libraries in Switzerland and thus to more than 30 million books, series, journals and non-book materials as well as billions of electronic articles.

The ETH Library offers you a wealth of current literature for all degree programmes:
Locations
The ETH Library is ETH Zurich's main library, located in the main building (H floor). Are you looking for a suitable learning and working place? Check all sites on the locations and opening hours overview.
However, there are also other specialist libraries that offer you subject-specific information for your degree:
- Architecture and Civil Engineering Library: architecture, urban and spatial planning; construction and geomatics; environment and transport
- Earth Sciences Library: geosciences
- GESS Library: humanities and social sciences; business, law and politics
- Green Library: agricultural and food sciences; environmental sciences
Incidentally, there are also other specialist departmental libraries that are affiliated with ETH Zurich.
