Getting Started – ETH Library in a nutshell

For your study time at ETH Zurich, we provide you with an extensive range of books, electronic resources, tools, study spaces and much more. In this course, you will get to know our premises and the most important online services – and of course we will also show you how you can read books and articles from the comfort of your own home or on the move. A warm welcome!

Aim

At the end of the course, you are able to

  • find your way around the premises of the ETH Library and also around ETH Library @ swisscovery,
  • organise your library account,
  • order, loan and renew documents,
  • identify and access electronic resources,
  • distinguish between a book-, journal- and article search.
