Get writing – overcome your writer’s block

Tackling a scientific writing task under time pressure is a big challenge. Where to start? How to plan? How to cope with all the information and big amounts of text? The many aspects to be considered and tasks to be completed are a considerable hurdle for many students. This course provides tips and encourages self-reflection.

  • how to start writing and get into a flow state.
  • how to organise your writing to overcome your writer’s block.
  • how good planning helps you start writing.

  • determine the stage you are at in your scientific work and identify any possible hurdles.
  • determine your own problems in the writing process and learn what you need to improve.
  • understand why good planning helps to keep the overview.
