SNSF project approved? We help with the data management plan

Has the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) accepted your project for funding? Then you now need a Data Management Plan (DMP) so that the funds can be released. ETH Library supports you.

Applications for project funding to the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) must be submitted by the beginning of April and the beginning of October. Once the SNSF has accepted a project, it requires a data management plan (DMP). Without such a plan, no funds will be disbursed.

Guidance and reviews

The Research Data Management team of the ETH Library supports researchers at ETH Zurich with a step-by-step guide to creating their DMPs. It was created in collaboration with the EPFL library and other partners.

Our team also offers advice and reviews of individual DMPs. So that you don't have to wait longer than necessary for your funding.

Important: It is not only the SNSF that requires DMPs. In fact, all research projects at ETH are expected to have such a plan (RDM Guidelines, Art. 4(3)). ETH Library provides you with a DMP template with corresponding instructions, which take into account the circumstances at ETH Zurich.
