The annual programme for the 2022 public tours is now online. Guided public tours through the collections and archives of ETH Zurich offer insights into the widest range of current research topics.
Have you ever heard about the anergy network under the Hönggerberg Campus? Or about the experiments in the open-plan laboratory with 45,000 flexible cubic metres? The forest laboratory with its studies on sustainable forest management? – You can now view the programme in the new year online and sign up for the public tours on Tuesday evenings in the first quarter of 2022.
The public tours programme – new and sustainable ...
In 2022, the motto of the programme is “responsibility and sustainability”, a strategic focus of ETH Zurich and already highly regarded by the general public. You can look forward to many new programme highlights! For example, the wind tunnel, the Link Bus or Villa Hatt can be seen for the first time on a public tour.
... tried and true classics ...
Or reach for the stars once again and admire the cosmic globes and star atlases and take a look at letters and original documents from historical luminaries such as Albert Einstein, Max Frisch or Thomas Mann.
... and for special needs
For the first time we have also set up public tours for people with visual impairment. Furthermore, you can book 20 public tours with sign language, and, likewise, 20 public tours are accessible by wheelchair.
Being curious is worth it!
The 2022 public tours are not only free to take. You will also get an up-close look at our collections and archives and the ETH Library as well as a glimpse behind the scenes of research and teaching, as you learn about the current research topics at the individual institutes.
