Over 7.7 million pages of contents ranging from current issues to 18th century holdings can be viewed and downloaded in PDF format for private and non-commercial use. Find what you’re looking for quickly and efficiently with the full text search: external pageE-Periodica can be searched by author, editor, title and ISSN, among other criteria. Thumbnails provide a rapid visual overview and can be zoomed smoothly down to the halftone.
The wide range of topics covered includes everything from natural sciences, architecture, mathematics, history, geography, art and culture to the environment and social policy.
The platform features journals including the Swiss satirical magazine “Nebelspalter”, “Hochparterre”, the magazine for architecture, planning and design and “Arbido”, the specialist journal for archives, libraries and documentation, as well as annual reports from museums and other institutions.
