At the end of the course, you are • aware of principle concepts of data protection and privacy issues when dealing with confidential data in research projects, • able to conduct research projects respecting both legislation as well as information security requirements, • able to identify if your research data classifies as confidential, • able to apply “best practices” for secure handling of confidential research data, • aware of how to use secure scientific IT infrastructures for confidential research data at ETH. | |

This workshop series comprises eight individual workshops, which mainly refer to the support, services and infrastructure that exist at ETH Zurich.
