What is Swissdox@LiRI?
external page Swissdox@LiRI is a research platform of the University of Zurich that provides access to one of the most comprehensive collections of Swiss news and media content. The database includes approximately 24 million articles from over 260 Swiss media sources, including newspapers, magazines and other journalistic publications.
Most articles were published in the past 25 years, but the archive covers a period of several decades. Between 5,000 and 6,000 new articles are added every day, so researchers can always work with up-to-date data.
The platform enables targeted queries and analyses of large text corpora, which offers a wide range of applications for researchers at ETH, particularly in the fields of linguistics, media research, social sciences and data analysis.
