ETHorama – new design and new options for your research
The ETH Library ETHorama platform was given a fresh new design on 01 June 2022 and now offers even more exploration options.
ETHorama offers you a geographic search option for historic digitised documents. After eight years, the platform was given a modern and intuitive new design. Thanks to the responsive layout, you now have more flexibility when using the content on a tablet or smartphone. All content is accessible via the map directly from the homepage, but you can still navigate to subject-specific collections via thematic collections or historical travels.
Synergies in the area of linked open data
Do you often carry out searches using external page ETH Library @ swisscovery? Thanks to the integration of ETHorama, you now have access to a geobased exploration option as an alternative to the purely text-based search.
ETHorama’s new cloud-based technology creates synergies in the area of linked open data and provides you with the context to collate and present media from various applications via shared georeferencing or via a map-based user interface.
