Welcome to swisscovery!
Today, the new ETH Library @ swisscovery research platform replaces the Search Portal of the ETH Library and NEBIS recherche.
As a customer of the library, you now have access to the entire academic media collections of 470 participating libraries in Switzerland.
From today, you can place orders, borrow media and much more via the new research platform: external pageeth.swisscovery.slsp.ch.
Information on the changeover phase
Until 31 March 2021, when the changeover of all processes to swisscovery will be completed, please bear in mind the following:
- Current loans will be automatically renewed once.
- Documents made available for collection on orders placed before 3 December can be collected between 7 and 16 December.
- Your current and previous loans, reservations, search history in the Search Portal and favourites cannot be migrated to the new system. Information on exporting your favourites, loans and reservations can be found at library.ethz.ch/swisscovery.

New registration
You will need to register again in order to continue using ETH Library services: library.ethz.ch/swisscovery.
