The ETH Library is providing funding for publications relating to the COVID-19 pandemic

The ETH Library is supporting the dissemination of knowledge relevant within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers at ETH Zurich can continue to apply for funding for their publications.

Open-access funding for researchers at ETH Zurich, made available by the ETH Library during the COVID-19 pandemic, can still be applied for.

The funding covers open-access fees for articles in both Gold Open Access and hybrid journals. To qualify for the funding, articles must relate to the COVID-19 pandemic; they can be medical, economic, political or social studies connected to the pandemic.

For the open-access fees to be covered, the first or corresponding author of the submitted article must be a member of ETH Zurich.

Permanently store and publish research findings: The ETH Library provides help with queries regarding open access and publication support for researchers at ETH Zurich. It also manages the Research Collection, negotiates with publishers and gathers data on implementing open access at ETH Zurich.
