Quantitative social research: Roper iPoll now available

Precise, comprehensive surveying and analysis of public opinion serves as the foundation for quantitative social research. With Roper iPoll, members of ETH Zurich now have access to the world’s largest collection of public-opinion data – the basis for sound research at the highest level.

“How risky do you think it would be for your health and well-being if you were to return to your normal life before the COVID-19 pandemic right now?” “If one foreign country attacks another, should the United States join forces with other nations to apply pressure to the aggressor?” Social research demands precise, comprehensively collected data and careful analysis of this data.

The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research’s database, external page RoperiPoll, offers you access to the world’s largest collection of social-sciences data from public-opinion questions for your research. The collection includes archives that date back to 1935 as well as the latest surveys from renowned polling agencies. Starting now, you have access to more than 23,000 data sets and 170,000 questions from 125 countries for your scientific projects and studies.
