Research as an adventure: Explora tells stories about the holdings of ETH Library
You can now search through over 60,000 images of scientific instruments, wood species and rust fungi on the Search Portal.
The images come from the E-Pics image catalogues:
- Scientific instruments: images of scientific instruments, models and other teaching aids from various ETH Zurich institutes and departments
- Xylotheque: microscopic specimens of different wood species with various levels of magnification
- Rust fungi on Solanaceae: macroscopic and microscopic images of rust fungi on plants of the nightshade family
- Rust fungi of the Zurich Herbaria: digitized herbaria labels for rust fungi from the Zurich Herbaria
The Search Portal is the central point of access when running searches on and using ETH Library resources. These include printed and electronic books, journals, specialist articles, photographs, maps, videos and much more.
