Research Collection: statistics April 2020
The most downloaded article in April deals with the currently dominant topic: the COVID-19 pandemic.
The topic quickly found its way into the Research Collection statistics. The article "external pageKonjunkturanalyse: Prognose 2020 / 2021. Im Bann des Coronavirus Rezession in Europa und der Schweiz wahrscheinlich" was published in “KOF Analysen”, the journal of the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at the ETH Zurich.
The remarkable thing about the Research Collection statistics for April was that for the first time, Switzerland did not appear in the list of the Top 5 countries. However, Swiss interest in the Research Collection has not diminished and the number of downloads was at a similar level as in previous months. There were simply 788 more downloads from Israel and Switzerland was ousted from the top 5 for the time being. This was also the first time that Israel appeared in the top 5 countries.
The Research Collection is ETH Zurich’s publication platform, where members of the university can publish academic full texts open access and archive research data or make them publicly accessible.
