Important information about ETH Library’s services

• The access restriction has implications for the circulation and return of printed media, among other things. In order to provide adapted services as quickly as possible, for a short transitional period, orders and returns are only possible for those with access rights.
• We will keep all orders ready for collection until further notice.
• Media that is due for return does not have to be returned at the moment. You will not receive an overdue notice.
• Until further notice, ETH Library will be open at all its locations from Monday, 16 March 2020, from 9.00 to 18.00 and only for staff and doctoral students of ETH Zurich.
• The reading rooms of the Collections and Archives of ETH Library are also only accessible to employees and doctoral staff of ETH Zurich.
• ETH Library's exhibitions are closed until further notice.

Digital services by ETH Library

• Especially during the period of the coronavirus protective measures, use ETH Library’s digital services, such as the digital text book collection and e-​journals. Please also take note of the overview page of freely accessible e-​resources and find instructions for accessing electronic resources on our website.
• We would also be pleased to receive your suggestions for the acquisition of electronic content and will endeavour to ensure that it is acquired quickly.
• External library customers who are already registered can also use the E-​Lending service to borrow scientific e-​books.
• ETH Library staff can be contacted by e-​mail if you need advice or have questions or suggestions and offer individual advice via Skype for Business (Book a Librarian).
