Digitised books by engineer and ETH Zurich graduate August Waldner
New private library on e-rara.ch
The private library belonging to August Waldner (1844-1906) is now available on e-rara.ch. The engineer and ETH Zurich graduate was the founder and publisher of the “Swiss Construction Journal”, Switzerland’s first specialist journal for the building sector. Approximately 500 volumes from his private library were bequeathed to ETH Zurich, and are now housed in the ETH Library’s Old Books Collection. This bequest will be systematically digitised and added continuously to the external pagedigital private library at e-rara.ch. The digital reproductions are freely accessible to users and can also be downloaded as desired.
