external pagenormIcall_made is a bibliographical database for standards. normI contains the metadata from Perinorm and provides full text access to currently applicable standards issued by the following organisations: ASTM International, DIN (DE), Electrosuisse (DE), IEEE International, INB/SM/ES/SIA National/SIA International (DE/FR), ISO (EN), VDI (DE), and IEC.
Notes
If external pagenormIcall_made does not offer access to the full text of a standard, you may try the following options:
- You may search for the number of the standard (without any letters in front of the number) to find the full text of a corresponding standard that was adopted by another organisation (the foreword and appendix may differ; the main text will be identical).
- Look for the “International relationship” and “Replaced by” fields. The links in these fields may lead to a corresponding standard with full-text access.
- Full texts of DIN standards are published in the “DIN-Taschenbuch” series by Beuth. These books are available at ETH Library. In normI, any reference to a printed version will be in the “Also printed in” field or can be found by searching for the number of the standard in the ETH Library Search Portal.
- Our web page on databases contains further information on standards. Non-licensed standards may have to be purchased from SNV, Beuth or Austrian Standards International.
