Mendeley Institutional Edition
external page Mendeley is a web-based reference management software. As a member of ETH Zurich, you benefit from a free upgrade of your Mendeley account and thus from additional features of the Mendeley Institutional Edition.
This is Mendeley
- Free-to-use, platform-independent and cloud-based reference management software
- A reference manager tool that offers extensive options for managing synchronised and integrated references both online and offline
- A program for working with PDFs and creating bibliographies
- If you are within the ETH network or connected via VPN, you can create a new Mendeley account or log in to your existing Mendeley account. Mendeley automatically recognises your ETH affiliation and adds you to the external page ETH Zurich Institutional Group.
- As a member of the Institutional Group, you will receive the upgrade.
- Membership in the Institutional Group expires twelve months after your last login within the ETH network.
If you want to install the Mendeley Reference Manager on your private computer, you can download it free of charge from the external page provider’s website. If you are a Mendeley user at ETH Zurich, please contact the IT support staff responsible for you.
The older external page Mendeley Desktop software does not support login through the institution (ETH login). If you need to use it, set up your account with your ETH e-mail address and do not use the automatically suggested institutional login. The new Mendeley Reference Manager supports login through the institution (ETH login).
