The Economist
The Economist is an independent newspaper based in London, focusing on world events, politics, and economics. It also offers regular sections on science and technology, as well as literature and art. The newspaper emphasizes data journalism and interpretative analysis rather than original reporting.

Access
This offer is exclusively available to members of ETH Zurich and requires registration via SSO. Access is available through both a web browser and The Economist app (iOS or Android). To create/log in to your personal account, please follow these steps:
- Visit the website external page The Economist | Independent journalism and click on Log in.
- Select the SSO option.

3. In the next window, enter your @ethz.ch email address and then select ETH Zurich from the list of institutions.

4. The service will redirect you to ETH Zurich’s user authentication. Finalize the registration/log in by using your ETH Zurich username and password for web applications (LDAP). You are getting referred back to The Economist website.
Your name and email address will be shared with The Economist to create your personal account. Please take note of the terms of use and privacy policy displayed during registration.
5. Under My Account, you can now manage your preferences.
